The Refurbishment category welcomes Projects that refurbish all or a substantial part of an existing Brick building. This award celebrates the creative and sustainable reuse of brick buildings and structures.
Any retrofit systems designed for high energy efficiency and low energy consumption to buildings previously built without them will also be considered during judging.
Projects must have been completed within the last two years, and either: substantially use BDA-member bricks or; substantially use reclaimed brick if, they are reasonably suspected of being originally manufactured in the UK.
